Throughout this life, I have been called many names; I have been insulted, I have been given words of encouragement, I have been told that I will never be unloved, and I have been told that I am a terrible woman. Over these 36 years, I have learned that I have a great purpose and that I do not depend on the opinions of others. I have made thousands of mistakes and kept silent for the sake of others. For not sharing details of my past, I have been judged. For not raising my voice with insults in return, I have been judged. What lesson does life teach me? Peace is priceless and it does not depend on what others think, but on what I think of myself. None of the insults, awards, or opinions of others define me. I am a warrior against the world, I am a woman of character. On this journey, I do not walk alone; I walk with my faith and with those who love me. I am the one who forgives, the one who believes in endless opportunities, the one who leaves and does not return. This is INMCSBL!
