La bailarina, Proyecto Muralista Estudiantil Esc. José I Quintón, Lote 4, Coamo, Puerto Rico.

The mural proposal innovatively and unconventionally merges the flags of our beloved town of Coamo and our island of Puerto Rico. These flags are integrated into the costume of a Puerto Rican dancer, a symbol of the José I. Quintón School of Fine Arts, which diligently trains and shapes the future artists of Coamo.

The dancer represents all the artistic disciplines taught at our school: dance, music, visual arts, and theater. The Puerto Rican flag covers most of the costume, highlighting our Puerto Rican identity and the pride we feel for our roots. It is a proposal with simple shapes, designed for students to perform, yet interesting and appealing to the tourists who visit.
